Utica Comets Utica NY history represents the continuation of a long and passionate hockey tradition in the Mohawk Valley. Established in 2013 as the American Hockey League affiliate of the Vancouver Canucks, the Comets quickly became a central part of the Utica sports scene, playing at the Adirondack Bank Center.
