In this issue, we explore the history and significance of Forest Hill Cemetery, often referred to as Utica’s “outdoor museum,” a historic resting place established in the mid-1800s that reflects the city’s rich past through its monuments, architecture, and the many notable individuals laid to rest there. As a non-sectarian cemetery, it has long served the entire community, preserving stories that span generations and offering a unique window into local and national history. As you revisit this cover along with others from the past 11 years of Greater Utica, we invite you to show some love by voting for your favorite cover—and if this is a story you’d like to see reprinted, let us know in the comments. We appreciate the feedback and look forward to seeing which cover comes out on top.
