Utica Steam Cotton Mill
With the introduction of steam powered mills to the city in the 1840s, Utica began its history as a hub in the textile manufacturing industry. One of the first steam-powered mills established in the city was the Utica Steam Cotton Mill. Many of us drive past this building every day - it can be seen from the North/South arterial.
