Bagg’s Hotel

In 1932, Maria Proctor decided to demolish the old Bagg’s Hotel on Main Street (the hotel is shown in the above photo, courtesy of the Oneida County History Center).
She then gifted to the city of Utica the land it stood upon after replacing the hotel with a small stone structure (shown in the photo below) known today as the Proctor Memorial Building. - Leave a comment below and let us know what you think.
